This policy explains what information NANCHANG MANCHAO NEW MATERIAL CO., LTD. ("MANCHAO", "we") collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the quote request form or the contact page, we collect the details you enter:
- Your name and email address, which are required so we can reply
- Company name, WhatsApp number, country and preferred contact method, if you provide them
- The product, quantity, material, size, finish, target market and customization requirements you describe
- Any files you attach, such as drawings, reference photos or specifications
We also record some technical information automatically with each enquiry: the page you submitted from, the referring website, campaign parameters in the link you followed, your IP address, your browser identification, and the time you agreed to this policy. We use this to understand which pages generate enquiries and to detect automated spam submissions.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to respond to you, prepare a quotation, and manage the resulting business relationship. Under the GDPR this is based on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you initiated, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails to addresses collected through this form unless you separately ask us to.
Who can see it
Enquiries are stored in our own website database on a server we control. Access is limited to MANCHAO staff who need it to respond to you.
Where we need to quote or produce your item, we may share the technical details and drawings with the production partner best suited to the process. We share only what is necessary for that purpose.
We use a transactional email service to deliver notification and confirmation emails. Email content necessarily passes through that service.
Where it is stored
MANCHAO is based in China, and our website and databases are operated from servers we control. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information will therefore be transferred outside that area. We take this seriously and limit what we collect to what we actually need to answer you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as the commercial relationship is active, and afterwards for a reasonable period so that we can honour repeat orders against your previously approved specification. Uploaded files are kept for 24 months by default unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. We use a web analytics tool to understand which pages are read and which products draw interest. Analytics is only loaded after you accept it — if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent.
Some storage in your browser is strictly necessary for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. That does not require consent.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can also ask us to send you a copy in a portable format. Write to us at the email address below and we will respond.
If you are in the EEA or UK and you believe we have not handled your information properly, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
